ELECTROLOGY REQUIREMENTS BY STATE

TENNESSEE

Specific REQUIREMENTS FOR Tennessee PROGRAM COMPLETION

In order to be considered for graduation, students completing the 600-hour program for Tennessee must successfully complete the following:

• Attain 425 or more clock hours.

• Successfully pass all quizzes and exams with a score of 75% or more.

• Successfully pass the written final exam and practical final exam.

• Attain a minimum of 225 practical hours.

• The practical time will only cover the ACTUAL TREATMENT TIME BY BODY AREA LISTED BELOW:

  • Face: 155 hours

  • Arms: 90 hours

  • Torso: 90 hours

  • Legs: 90 hours

• We are required to show that you have satisfied all requirements by body area.  That means all the extra time that is needed for:  Sanitation and Sterilization, Consultations, Station set-up and Clean-up, Scheduling appointments, Positioning, are not included in the 425 hours. Credit will not be given for these Pre/Post epilation activities.
